Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell Found Guilty in Murder Cases
Jury Convicts Husband and Wife in Deaths of Children and Former Spouse
Chad Daybell was convicted on Thursday of killing Tammy Daybell, his wife at the time of her death. Vallow Daybell was convicted in May 2023 of the murder of her children, 7-year-old JJ Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan.
The couple was indicted on the murder charges in May 2021. The sentencing for Chad Daybell comes two days after the jury handed down a guilty verdict on May 30, 2024 in the 2019 murders.
Prosecutors argued that the couple killed Tammy Daybell and the children as part of a doomsday religious cult they followed.
